Since 1929, “Chocolates El Rey” – The King of Chocolates – has been manufacturing fine chocolates in Venezuela using Venezuelan cocoa beans.  This Premium Chocolate line  uses the famed Carenero Superior cacao bean, from the region of Barlovento. Since colonial times, this cacao has been one of the most valued for the manufacturing of fine chocolates worldwide.

All of the couvertures are known for their Complex flavor notes of fruit, flower, nut and spice provide an intense chocolate taste.

The Carenero Superior Line includes six different presentations between dark, milk and white chocolates:

Iooa White, Caoba Milk,  and darks: 58.5% Bucar  , 61% Mijao , 70% Gran Saman , and 73% Apamate.
