This new sugar replacer has several unique features: number one is that the flavor is GOOD! it tastes like sugar with no aftertaste!
It also works in most baking applications on a one-to-one ratio – by weight. This means if you use 150 grams of sugar, you use 150 grams of ZUSTO. (It is necessary that you weigh the amount of sugar for your recipe and replace with the same weight of ZUSTO. It will not work accurately to use measuring cups)
User tips: Do not mix ZUSTO with fats in your recipe – instead, add to your dry ingredients or mix with eggs
300 grams 70 or 80% chocolate
270 grams Butter
450 grams Eggs
360 grams ZUSTO
120 grams Flour
Melt chocolate and add melted butter. Mix until color is uniform.
Add the flour in 3 separate additions and mix well after each.
Mix eggs & ZUSTO together (can use electric mixer) And then mix this with the chocolate mixture.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes (Yes – less than usual sugar based recipe :))
Check doneness by inserting a toothpick at the edge of the pan – not the center – for more fudge brownies.
